A cookie is a small file stored on your device by a website. SauzeLocal uses as few as possible. Non-essential cookies are only set after you accept them in the cookie banner, and you can change your mind at any time using the Cookie settings link in the footer.

1. Strictly necessary cookies and storage
These are needed for the site to work and cannot be switched off. They do not track you across other websites.
- Sign-in session: keeps you signed in to your account and protects the session. Duration: until you sign out or the session expires.
- Cookie choice: remembers the preferences you set in the banner so we do not ask again. Duration: 6 months.
- Security: protects forms and the payment flow against abuse. Duration: session.
2. Analytics cookies
Used only if you accept them, to understand which pages are used so we can improve the site. If you do not accept them, none are set and no analytics data is collected.
3. Marketing cookies
Used only if you accept them, to measure campaigns that bring visitors to SauzeLocal. If you do not accept them, none are set.
4. Payments
When you pay, our payment provider may set its own strictly necessary cookies on its secure checkout page to process the transaction and prevent fraud. This happens on the provider's page, under its own policy.
5. Changing your choices
Open Cookie settings in the footer to accept or reject each category at any time. Rejecting is as easy as accepting, and rejecting non-essential cookies does not limit the parts of the site that matter: browsing, buying, your pass and your guide all continue to work.
You can also delete cookies in your browser settings. Deleting the cookie that stores your choice means the banner will appear again.
Website and app storage
Website sign-in uses secure session and PKCE verification storage (sb-*). Cookie preferences use sauze-cookie-consent for 180 days. iPhone sign-in tokens use the iOS Keychain; saved public places stay on your device until removed. Checkout request identifiers last for the browser session.
Apple and Google sign-in are optional identity providers when enabled. Maps, webcam streams and external links contact their respective providers when used and can disclose your IP address. Location is requested only when you choose the location control; it is not a purchase requirement. WhatsApp opens a separate service. Necessary payment and sign-in storage does not authorise marketing tracking.
Preferences and provider requests
Change preferences in the website footer or at the end of Account in the app. Rejecting optional tracking does not prevent necessary security and operational logging. Maps, webcams, payments and external services receive necessary requests when you use them; also review their policies.
