Sauze Local operates under the Italian regime forfettario. Direct Italian sales are not subject to VAT under Article 1, paragraphs 54–89 of Law 190/2014; VAT is not added to the displayed prices. Where Apple processes an in-app purchase, Apple’s applicable tax and invoicing rules apply. Cross-border transactions may have separate tax obligations.
Public maps, places, weather and webcams can be explored without buying. Keep your login secure. Your own purchases appear in your account. Administrative access requires an authorised role and is never granted by buying a pass.
The guide is digital content. The pass provides the stated benefits at participating local businesses for the validity period shown in the offer and your pass. Check the current participating businesses, exclusions and opening times before purchase. Benefits and availability are described in each offer; a pass does not guarantee access to a venue or a ski lift.
Where enabled, iPhone digital guide purchases use Apple In-App Purchase and can be restored using the same Apple account and Sauze account. Pass payments use card checkout for benefits used outside the app. A mixed bundle is two clearly priced purchases, with separate payment confirmations. Completing one does not automatically complete the other. Website purchases are processed by the payment provider shown at checkout.
The total, currency and applicable taxes are shown before you authorise each payment. Choose your start date before paying. The pass lasts seven calendar days from 00:00 Europe/Rome on that date, expiring at 00:00 seven days later. A purchase for today works once payment is confirmed. Future passes show a locked placeholder until the chosen date; this is not a usable QR code. The start date is fixed once checkout is prepared. Existing passes retain their original dates. Access is issued only after the payment provider confirms payment. A pending payment is not an active pass. Keep your purchase confirmation and contact support if paid access is missing.
Where the law provides a right of withdrawal, contact support within 14 days of concluding the contract. An unambiguous email stating your name, order reference and decision to withdraw is sufficient; no particular form is required. Refunds are made through the original payment method under applicable law.
Immediate digital delivery does not by itself waive your withdrawal right. Any legal loss of that right requires your prior express consent to early supply, acknowledgment of the loss and the required contract confirmation. For Apple purchases, request a refund through Apple; you can also contact us for assistance. Mandatory rights for defective or non-conforming content and services remain unchanged. A pass is not automatically non-refundable merely because it was purchased online.
Check official local safety and operating information before travelling. Maps, weather, webcams and venue listings can be delayed or unavailable and do not replace official instructions. Third-party links open the relevant provider. Do not use the app while driving or skiing.
Privacy and cookie policies explain data use and storage choices. Request privacy assistance at support@sauzelocal.com. On iPhone, Account opens your account page directly. Use Delete account when enabled, or contact support to request deletion. Deletion removes the login and personal app data; legally required accounting records are retained separately with restricted access. Marketing is optional.
Invoices and mandatory accounting documents are retained for ten years from the last accounting entry under Article 2220 of the Italian Civil Code, and longer where an unresolved tax assessment or another legal obligation requires it (Article 22, DPR 600/1973). This exception does not apply to every profile, photo or app activity record. Italian law applies without removing mandatory protections available to consumers in their country of residence. Mandatory consumer jurisdiction remains available.
SauzeLocal can be used through the website and iPhone app. Apple and Google sign-in, Apple purchases, Wallet export and automatic account deletion are available only when configured and enabled. A payment button being unavailable does not mean a purchase was completed. Check that a guide edition is available and review the current offer before paying.
Account opens your account page directly in the iPhone app. Language, business access, support and legal links are in Account → Settings. Use your existing sign-in method on both platforms. If you use Apple Hide My Email, link another supported method from that same account when available; a separate sign-up may create a separate account.
Request account deletion or help at support@sauzelocal.com even if automatic deletion is unavailable. We verify your identity before acting. Mandatory accounting records may be retained; this does not justify keeping unrelated profile data. Please report faults or paid access that is missing using your order reference, without sending a password or full card details.

Buying a pass does not guarantee a fixed or minimum number of offers, participating businesses, uses or savings. It does not guarantee that a particular business participates, remains open or maintains the same offer throughout your pass validity. Your benefit depends on available offers and the purchases you choose to make.
Businesses set their discounts, benefits, dates and conditions. Offers may change, end, be withdrawn or suspended for operational, availability, closure, safety or legal reasons. Unexpected changes may occur without individual advance notice. The portal is updated once a change is reported or verified. Limits may apply to days, hours, products, bookings or combining discounts. Check current offers before buying the pass and confirm conditions with the business before ordering or paying. Tourist, Resident and Worker benefits can differ. Withdrawal of an offer is not revocation of your pass. If a change substantially affects the service you purchased, contact support@sauzelocal.com for the applicable remedies, including any refund required by law.
The pass provides access to the offers applicable to your pass type during its validity. It does not include the price of goods or services purchased from a business. That purchase and its fulfilment are with the business, which remains responsible for its service. SauzeLocal remains responsible for the services it sells directly and its own obligations. Offer changes do not remove statutory withdrawal, refund or other remedies, nor permit retroactive changes to an existing contract.
Listings may be prepared by SauzeLocal to make information easier to find and later updated by authorised owners. A listing alone is not proof of pass participation, sponsorship or a commercial agreement: an offer must be expressly shown. Hours, menus, prices, photos and availability may change. Confirm allergens, accessibility, bookings and specific conditions directly with the business.
Owners must have rights to uploaded content, provide truthful information and keep their offers updated. They are responsible for their goods and services, required permissions and stated benefits. Report errors, disputed content or refused offers to support@sauzelocal.com. We will examine the report and may correct or suspend content following appropriate checks.
Joining and an ordinary listing are free. Optional Featured purchases book a position for the week and section specified, not the whole season. There are three homepage positions in total and three per category, subject to availability. Promotion does not guarantee views, clicks, customers, sales or a financial return.
A booking cancellation or change concerns the week specified in its confirmation. Refunds follow the original payment and applicable rules; Apple payments require Apple’s refund process. An immediate refund is not promised.
Referrals attribute a purchase to a code or link according to system records. Visits, scans, sign-ups and incomplete purchases do not guarantee compensation. Earnings depend on valid purchases and the applicable programme; refunds, cancellations and abuse can lead to adjustments. Portal totals reflect recorded status, not a promise of future earnings.
Town and ski maps, GPS, lift and piste information, transport, weather, webcams and avalanche bulletins are information tools. Location and information can be inaccurate, incomplete, delayed or unavailable. A mapped route, lift or connection is not proof that it is open or passable.
Check the bulletin’s date and area and current official sources. Resort operators, signs and competent authorities take precedence. A bulletin is not a personal risk assessment or permission to use off-piste routes. SauzeLocal is not an emergency service; call 112 in an emergency.
To the extent permitted by law, SauzeLocal does not guarantee third-party services, uninterrupted external links or economic results from using the platform. No clause excludes or limits liability for intentional wrongdoing, gross negligence, personal injury or mandatory duties or rights. Businesses’ responsibility for their services does not exclude SauzeLocal’s responsibility for its own services.
Logos, text, images, maps, trademarks and other content remain subject to their owners’ rights and stated licences. Do not reuse them without valid permission or a legal basis. Rights reports should identify the content, claimed right and a contact address.
We may update these terms and their date. Updates do not retroactively reduce rights arising from completed purchases; substantial changes will be communicated appropriately. Contact us for complaints and assistance without waiving legal remedies or access to competent authorities.
